Job summary

AbbVie seeks a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to strategically support a defined geographic area and therapeutic focus. You will build professional relationships with physicians and researchers, delivering scientific education and information across AbbVie's product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has advanced scientific credentials and 3+ years of MSL experience, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel up to 75% within the territory (Miami preferred).

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (Pharm D/MD/DO/PhD) in relevant scientific field.
• Senior MSL typically requires 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 0–2 years for MSL; 3+ for Senior MSL.
• Conversational Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to translate territory and corporate needs to support objectives.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with thought leaders and researchers.
• Present scientific information to healthcare professionals across the lifecycle.
• Support research initiatives with AbbVie R&D and Medical Affairs.
• Prepare market access and payer discussions in designated territory.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
