Job summary

AbbVie seeks a field-based MSL/Senior MSL to strategically support research objectives in a defined geography. You will be the primary scientific communicator to healthcare professionals, building and maintaining relationships to provide medical and scientific support across AbbVie therapies.

You will travel up to 75% and work with AbbVie teams to meet clinical and commercial goals while ensuring compliance and valid credentialing in the field.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a health science field; Doctorate preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
• Ability to present complex scientific information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience translating territory needs into actionable medical plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders and researchers.
• Present scientific information to healthcare professionals across the lifecycle of AbbVie products.
• Support research initiatives and investigator meetings; coordinate external collaborations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support medical objectives and education.
• Ensure compliant, timely documentation of HCP interactions and activities.
