Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an MSL/Senior MSL for the Aesthetics portfolio, based in the Miami area. The role focuses on scientific leadership, education for healthcare professionals, and strategic collaboration with AbbVie teams across the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced degrees, relevant MSL experience, and strong communication skills. Spanish is a plus, and travel to sites and investigators is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (i.e., PharmD, MD/DO, PhD). Doctorate strongly preferred in a health science or clinical discipline.
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for a Senior MSL
• Conversational Spanish is a plus
• Must identify, analyze, and translate territory and corporate needs to support internal and external customers and achieve objectives
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel up to 75%

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers in assigned areas of therapeutic interest.
• Present scientific information and education relative to disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products across the product lifecycle to healthcare professionals.
• Support research initiatives as requested by AbbVie R&D, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs, including site evaluation and investigator meetings.
• Prepares marketplace in new therapeutic areas of interest, creating awareness and relationships for AbbVie in the Medical community.
• Collaborates with internal cross-functional teams and partners with field sales to develop and execute account plans.
• Serve as a medical/scientific resource to healthcare providers by answering unsolicited medical questions.
• Provide ongoing training to medical affairs, field sales, and internal personnel as directed.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.
