Job summary

Servier, a global pharmaceutical group, seeks an Associate Director for Small Molecule Drug Substance MSAT. The role is remote with preference for East Coast based in the United States, anchored by a strong background in organic/medicinal chemistry and GMP.

You will guide tech transfers, lifecycle management, and regulatory readiness across sites and CMOs. The position demands deep expertise in linker-payload chemistry, HPAPIs, and cross-functional leadership to deliver robust, compliant

Qualifications

• Experience in synthetic chemical process development for small molecules.
• Experience with HPAPI handling and containment.
• Experience leading tech transfers and regulatory documentation in GMP.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of internal and external manufacturing processes for SMDS.
• Assess process robustness, control strategies, impurity formation and yield.
• Lead deviations investigations, CAPAs and ensure regulatory readiness.
• Support containment, cleaning, cross-contamination prevention and EHS risk assessments.
• Drive lifecycle improvements for robustness, yield, and supply reliability.
