Job summary

Applied Information Sciences seeks an Infrastructure Architect to lead Microsoft Teams Rooms AV/VTC deployments across enterprise spaces in the Northeast. The role blends solution architecture with hands‑on implementation, administration, and ongoing support.

The candidate will travel onsite to CT/RI sites up to 4 days a week during rollout and 2–3 days for ongoing collaboration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring scalable, standards‑based room solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 6+ years in AV, VTC, unified communications, or collaboration engineering.
• 3+ years deploying Teams Rooms in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Teams Rooms on Windows and lifecycle management.
• Ability to travel to eastern CT and RI onsite up to 4 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Assess requirements for Teams Rooms deployments in various room types.
• Develop room design standards, BOMs, and implementation guides.
• Administer and troubleshoot Teams Rooms hardware and software stack.
• Configure room accounts, device settings, and Microsoft 365 integration.
• Coordinate installation, testing, cutover, and turnover activities.
• Review floor plans and wiring diagrams for soundness and operability.
• Troubleshoot AV/VTC issues including audio/video quality and network impact.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet enterprise standards.
