Job summary

Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Principal or Senior Principal Liaison/MRB Engineer on a 3/10 Weekend Shift (Fri-Sun). The role interfaces with multiple suppliers and internal teams to disposition discrepant material tags and design repairs for composite parts. Strong communication and MES experience are required.

The position may be filled at Principal or Senior Principal level depending on qualifications, with salary ranges and a comprehensive benefits package noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years related experience or Master's with 3+ years (Principal Engineer).
• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years related experience or Master's with 6+ years (Sr. Principal).
• Hands-on experience in a composites manufacturing facility.
• Experience with military specs and standards.
• Must be willing to work 2nd Shift (2:30p.m - 12:00a.m EST).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interface with suppliers and stakeholders to disposition discrepant material tags.
• Design repairs for discrepant parts and assemblies made from composite materials.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Materials & Processing, and Structures teams to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
