Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Liaison/MRB Engineer or Principal Liaison/MRB Engineer to join our team in Iuka, MS. The position supports the disposition of withhold supplier tags and repair design for composite parts, interfacing with multiple suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree and 2+ years (or a Master’s with 0+ years) in the field, with strong communication skills and knowledge of MES/MRB processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science/Engineering or Math with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with related experience
• Experience with composites manufacturing and repair processes in aerospace
• Understanding of military specs and standards is preferred

Responsibilities

• Dispositions discrepant material tags and interfaces with suppliers and stakeholders
• Designs repairs for discrepant parts and assemblies made of composites
• Interacts with Structural Analysis, Materials & Processing and Manufacturing teams to coordinate MRB actions
