Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join the team, relocating from Lexington, MA to Waltham, MA. You will ensure manufacturing processes meet quality standards through inspections and data analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams on QA protocols.

This role requires ISO 9001/AS9100 experience, strong analytical skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations for complex hardware/software.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense, automotive, or medical device manufacturing/quality.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 environments.
• Hands-on with FMEA, RCCA/8D, Change Management, APQP, PPAP, GD&T.
• Metrology tools experience; electro-mechanical design knowledge.
• Strong ownership and project management skills.
• Eligibility for active U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Improve product design, manufacturing, suppliers, and field support to boost reliability.
• Maintain AS9100 quality management system compliance.
• Develop KPIs for quality across products.
• Use data-driven methods to assess quality and reliability across supply chain.
• Support and improve supplier and internal tracking tools for quality issues.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA with internal teams and suppliers.
• Support raw material supplier inspection and incoming inspection programs.
• Support MRB activities.
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers' performance.
• Contain, audit, and disposition defective material.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define product roadmaps and process controls for incoming materials and tests.
