Job summary

Anduril Industries in Lexington, MA, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our growing team, currently based out of Lexington, MA but relocating to Waltham, MA. You will ensure our manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards through inspections and data analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams on quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
• 5+ years experience with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations.
• Experience in aerospace/defense, automotive, or medical device fields.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 environments.
• Knowledge of FMEA, RCCA/8D, APQP, PPAP, and GD&T.
• Experience with metrology tools and electro-mechanical design.
• Ability to drive projects from start to finish and obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvement across product design, manufacturing, suppliers and service.
• Ensure AS9100 quality management system compliance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for product quality.
• Lead data-driven quality and reliability assessments for suppliers and processes.
• Support supplier inspection, in-process and field quality issues.
• Lead investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to supplier qualification and performance evaluations.
• Contain, audit and disposition quality escapes.
