Job summary

InvestedintheMission in Berthoud, CO, seeks a Senior Supply Planner to own the Master Production Schedule for an assigned propulsion segment, translating demand into a feasible, time-phased supply plan and releasing Manufacturing Orders to keep hardware moving.

You will work within an established SIOP cadence, advise on lead times, safety stock, and replenishment, mentor junior planners, and partner with Materials Control, Procurement, and Manufacturing to resolve shortages and optimize schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 4 to 6 years in supply planning or master scheduling roles.
• ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Katana, Sage) and advanced Excel.
• Working knowledge of MRP logic and BOMs to drive the plan.
• Ability to analyze data from diverse sources and partner with stakeholders.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for junior planners.

Responsibilities

• Own adherence to the Master Production Schedule and translate demand into a time-phased plan.
• Release and sequence Manufacturing Orders against program need dates and capacity.
• Run MRP and manage reschedules, expediting, and shortages before impact.
• Maintain planning parameters: lead times, lot sizing, safety stock.
• Develop replenishment strategies for inventory locations and obsolescence handling.
• Collaborate with Materials Control, Procurement, and Manufacturing to resolve shortages.
• Lead and mentor junior planners and participate in SIOP cadence.
• Communicate forecasts and risk scenarios to leadership and stakeholders.
