Leidos in Virginia is seeking a Sr. Network Design Engineer – Core (WAN) to support government customers’ global enterprise networks.

The role requires hands-on router engineering and MPLS WAN architecture expertise, with a focus on modernizing network components to meet mission requirements. Candidates must hold TS SCI with active polygraph and a total of 16 years of combined work history and education (e.g., doctorate with 8 years, master 10, bachelor 12, etc.).

Qualifications

• Requires TS SCI with active Polygraph.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance.
• Hands-on router engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the MPLS WAN overall architecture
• Developing MPLS WAN services solution
• Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing
• Assisting with the security accreditation process
• Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation
• On an as-needed basis, support Tier-4 production troubleshooting and proactive network analysis
