Job summary

Department of State Move Management is seeking a Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations for household goods relocation programs. The role manages execution, workload coordination, contract and tender compliance, shipment documentation, data integrity, reporting, vendor performance, audit readiness, and team development.

You will support the Customer Care team with shipment status updates, escalation handling, and resolution of service-impacting issues while applying extensive knowledge of DOS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field; 5+ years in international household goods relocation or transportation.
• Advanced knowledge of DOS move management requirements, tenders, and compliance.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and escalation resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Move Management team with workload prioritization and staff assignments.
• Oversee shipment offers intake, validation of routing, dates, and program data.
• Ensure tender compliance, documentation standards, and reporting.
• Audit shipments for contract compliance and data integrity; drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Customer Care for status updates and escalations.
