Job summary

Interstate Moving Relocation Logistics seeks a Supervisor for Department of State Move Management in Springfield, VA. This full-time role leads the team, ensures compliance with tenders and documentation, and coordinates field operations for household goods relocation programs.

You will monitor performance, manage vendors, and collaborate with Customer Care to keep clients informed and issues resolved promptly. A strong background in government transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in international household goods relocation, government move management, or transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational direction for the Move Management team.
• Oversee shipment offers, registrations, and system setup to ensure accuracy and complete program details.
• Ensure compliance with Department of State tenders, CHAMP requirements, and documentation standards.
• Oversee audits, data integrity, and corrective actions for contracts and shipments.
• Partner with Customer Care to provide status updates and escalation support.
• Train, coach, and develop team members on procedures, tender compliance, and SOPs.
