Job summary

Swingtech is seeking a Move Management Coordinator to support DHS/FPS with facility moves, relocations, seating changes, workspace transitions, and related coordination activities onsite in the Northern Virginia / Washington, DC metro area.

The role requires planning and executing moves ensuring space, personnel, equipment, schedules, stakeholders, and facility requirements are properly coordinated. Strong PM and relocation experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active project management certification — required.
• Experience with relocation, move management, workplace planning, facilities coordination, or project coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, scheduling, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent move activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee moves, relocations, and workspace changes.
• Develop move plans, schedules, checklists, and materials.
• Gather and validate personnel, seating, equipment, and space requirements.
• Coordinate activities with FPS, facilities teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Support space assignments, seating plans, and move-related tasks.
• Track actions, issues, dependencies, and status.
• Conduct move coordination meetings and maintain logs.
• Support site visits and pre-/post-move assessments.
