Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience delivering motor control or motor drive systems for electromechanical actuators.
• Experience with embedded control electronics in safety‑critical, high‑reliability environments.
• Experience owning or leading a technical baseline, including requirements and verification planning.
• Hands‑on lab bring‑up, integration, testing, and verification of embedded electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical baseline for a family of embedded motor controllers across requirements, architecture, interfaces, verification, and documentation.
• Define and maintain reusable motor controller architectures for multiple mechanisms and missions.
• Collaborate with vehicle and subsystem teams to capture mission and mechanism needs including performance and safety requirements.
• Develop controller solutions spanning embedded processing, sensing, power electronics, interfaces, and firmware for BLDC and stepper motors.
• Work directly with controller hardware in the lab for bring‑up, troubleshooting, and verification.
