Job summary

Cursor is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to shape how the brand moves and is presented across campaigns and products. You will lead motion systems, craft the brand's motion language, and own projects from concept to final delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will work hands-on, building tools and templates to enable marketing, product, and other teams to produce on-brand motion with minimal supervision. Strong storytelling and a systems mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of motion design experience in-house or at an agency/studio.
• Fluency in After Effects, Cinema 4D or Blender, Figma, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience in AI coding tools, especially Cursor; build tools, scripts, prototypes, or simple web pages.

Responsibilities

• Define and extend the brand’s motion language (timing, easing, transitions, logo animation, typography in motion) and document it for cross-team use.
• Create AI-assisted workflows, templates, and generators for on-brand motion across teams.
• Concept and produce motion end to end—storyboards through final delivery for campaigns and products.
• Collaborate with product designers and engineers to bring brand motion into product surfaces.
