Job summary

HRCP JV (a joint venture of Flatiron, Dragados USA and VINCI) seeks an experienced MOT Superintendent to drive scheduling, coordination and supervision on a $3.3B Design Build civil project along the I-64 corridor in Virginia. You will manage crews, subcontractors, safety, and materials to meet contract requirements and cost targets.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in heavy civil construction and 5+ years in construction management, with strong leadership and communication skills and a valid

Qualifications

• 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• STS certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of site equipment operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and enforcement.
• Ability to read and interpret complex plans and specs.
• Ability to apply math concepts to practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work. Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports and updates weekly schedule from project feedback.
• Review project specifications and coordinate with field teams and utilities to identify hazards and set up activities.
• Coordinate with internal equipment teams and external vendors to ensure appropriate equipment and material quantities within budget and schedule.
• Forecast the work schedule to identify issues and provide technical or scheduling recommendations.
• Provide input to identify and resolve risks including methods, work plan, safety and schedule; document daily activities.
• Supervise sub-contractor production and workforce; adjust schedules as needed.
