Job summary

Bank of America Corporation is seeking a Test Specialist to ensure accurate and timely test execution within the Consumer Banking Testing space. You will document defects, analyze results, and collaborate with Compliance and risk partners on themes and process improvements.

The role emphasizes underwriting knowledge across conforming, nonconforming, HELOC, FHA/VA products, and using Excel to support reporting and QA testing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential loan underwriting including Conforming, Nonconforming, HELOC, Custom, FHA and VA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and timely test execution and supporting end-to-end test processes.
• Document and escalate defects, perform preliminary reporting and analysis of results.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operational Risk and FLU process owners to identify themes and trends.
• Provide training and direction to junior staff and review reversal requests/arbitration where needed.
