Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking a Senior Mortgage TPO Partner Support Specialist to assist Account Managers in submitting loan files accurately to Mortgage Operations and to optimize file flow for members and brokers.

You’ll act as a SME for clients, explain loan programs, negotiate terms, and partner with Mortgage Operations to ensure timely communication while maintaining compliance and building internal relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in mortgage loan administration, including a minimum of two years’ TPO experience.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment to manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Exceptional ability to communicate clearly (verbal and written) with all levels within organization.
• Proven skills and commitment in meeting or exceeding client expectations and requirements.
• Ability to apply logic to situations and analyze credit packages.
• Strong knowledge of TRID.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of loan operations software (Encompass & TPO Connect).
• Minimum Education: High School diploma.
• Certification/License: Ability to be NMLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Act as a contact and subject matter expert for clients during the loan process, obtaining required documentation.
• Explain loan programs and negotiate mortgage loan terms with clients.
• Partner with Mortgage Operations for timely responses and communications with members and brokers.
• Maintain expert product and procedure knowledge; ensure real estate products meet client needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to strengthen interdepartmental relations.
• Maintain compliance within federal, state and credit union rules and regulations.
• Actively prospect for new broker clients through relationships, partners and networking events.
• Assist clients with systems issues, underwriting questions, and pricing questions.
• Monitor volume pipeline to ensure monthly goals are achieved.
