Job summary

First Tech Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Third-Party Origination (TPO) Sr. Account Executive to grow its wholesale mortgage channel.

You will build broker partnerships, drive third-party loan production, and help shape the future of mortgage lending in a mission-driven credit union. You will manage broker relationships, onboarding, and performance while collaborating with underwriting and operations to ensure exceptional broker experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage lending experience.
• Understanding of broker channels, loan programs, guidelines and risk management.
• Proven ability to build, grow and retain long-term broker partnerships.
• Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Able to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences including clients and leadership.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Identify pipeline risks early and collaborate with teams.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• NMLS registration

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and grow relationships with wholesale mortgage brokers as the primary owner.
• Drive mortgage production by expanding broker engagement and onboarding new accounts.
• Position value propositions against nonbank competitors based on pricing and service.
• Advise brokers on programs, guidelines, and loan structuring to support pullthrough.
• Collaborate with underwriting, fulfillment, secondary marketing, and operations.
• Identify and resolve pipeline risks to protect cycle time and conversion.
• Execute broker growth plans including territory management and lead strategies.
• Support broker onboarding, training, and certification per guidelines.
• Monitor broker performance metrics and take action to improve results.
• Represent the credit union at events, broker meetings, and training sessions.
• Maintain risk and compliance with lending standards.
