Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the Mortgage Risk Services quality control function. You will oversee pre-funding and post-closing QC, perform reviews, and ensure compliance with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA/VA, USDA guidelines.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of mortgage credit underwriting or QC auditing, and 5 years of management experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years Mortgage Credit Underwriting or Post-Closing QC auditor experience.
• 5 years' Management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Quality Control staff, audits, reports, and pre/post-closing reviews.
• Develop and manage auditor scorecards and performance standards.
• Coordinate with QC and Compliance to monitor quality standards.
• Prepare and update QC procedures and manuals; ensure timely, accurate loan files.
• Identify regulatory changes and train staff accordingly.
• Provide guidance to clients and internal teams on underwriting and compliance.
