Job summary

Verity Search in Van Nuys, CA is seeking a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor in a hybrid role. You will manage a robust pipeline from application through closing, ensure compliance with TRID/RESPA, and maintain high service standards for borrowers, agents, and loan officers.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on experience in retail or broker environments, strong knowledge of Fannie/Freddie, FHA, VA, and Jumbo guidelines, and proficiency with LOS and DU/LP.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor in a retail or broker environment.
• Comprehensive working knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and Jumbo loan programs and guidelines.
• Proficiency with modern Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and automated underwriting engines (DU/LP).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and manage high-volume pipelines with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline management from submission to closing with SLA adherence.
• Review applications, credit reports, income/assets, and appraisals for accuracy.
• Serve as primary contact for borrowers, agents, and loan officers with proactive updates.
• Collaborate with Underwriting to clear conditions efficiently.
• Ensure loan data is accurately entered in LOS in compliance with TRID/RESPA.
