Job summary

The Mitigator III at Stretto manages mortgage modification program cases from intake through final resolution, coordinating with borrowers, counsel, creditors, servicers, trustees, and the Court. You will gather information, prepare and review submissions, monitor deadlines in the Portal, and document compliance.

This role includes training teammates, handling a high-volume caseload, and ensuring accurate court filings, notices, and reports while maintaining confidential records and providing

Qualifications

• Experience working with attorneys, courts, creditors, servicers, trustees, and other stakeholders.
• Mortgage loss mitigation knowledge is essential; prior Loss Mitigation Specialist experience preferred.
• Bankruptcy, legal support, or court-program experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage mortgage modification matters from intake to final resolution.
• Schedule and conduct client interviews; gather and validate required information.
• Review data for completeness and currency; resolve missing or incorrect information.
• Prepare and quality-control loss mitigation submissions; upload documents through the Portal.
• Apply MMP rules, procedures, and deadlines in guiding participants and administering cases.
• Support access to the Court-approved Portal and Document Preparation System; update guides.
• Monitor Portal communications, case activity, and deadlines; take action to progress cases.
• Prepare for and conduct MMP conferences; coordinate with parties and counsel; document activity.
• Identify non-compliance; preserve evidence; prepare certificates and reports for Court review.
• Monitor trial modifications through execution and maintain Portal access.
• Maintain complete confidential case notes and reports; coordinate with outside professionals.
• Train and supervise team members on procedures, quality standards, and workflows.
