Job summary

UFCU Financial Services, LLC in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to manage the loan file from receipt through closing, ensuring adherence to AUS results and industry guidelines. You will gather documentation, verify information, and order required documents for underwriting.

You will lead the documentation process and communicate with members, Loan Officers, Underwriters, and Closers, while staying current on underwriting rules and controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
• Extensive experience with all loan products available by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA.
• Deep experience with Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Bachelor’s degree or related college coursework preferred.
• Bondable required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and accompanying documents to determine compliance with AUS results and guidelines.
• Review credit reports, employment information, and asset statements for support documentation.
• Order and review title, flood certification, and homeowners insurance documents.
• Ensure underwriting conditions are cleared and file is prepared for Closing.
• Coordinate with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and Closers to resolve problems.
• Maintain compliance with BSA, AML, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending regulations.
