Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance is required.
• Minimum three years' experience as an NMLS-licensed or federally registered residential loan officer.
• Strong sales, organizational, managerial and interpersonal skills are expected.
• Excellent oral and written communication to discuss loan programs with customers and agents.
• Ability to follow bank and secondary market policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Interview loan applicants, review financials, advise on loan alternatives and select the best program.
• Inform borrowers of underwriting guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Prequalify loan requests according to policies and market guidelines.
• Complete loan applications detailing borrower financial capacity and pre-processing steps.
• Monitor complex loans through closing and maintain communication with customers.
