Job summary

Bluestone Bank in Massachusetts seeks a Sr. Commercial Credit Underwriter to evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing borrowers, analyzing complex loan data and financial information.

You will prepare underwriting documentation, support loan officers, and ensure compliance with regulations while contributing to a team that values career growth and a competitive benefits package with a salary range of $85,000 to $115,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting.
• Three or more years of credit analysis experience.
• Strong financial analytical abilities; detailed oriented.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex loan data and financial information for new, renewal, and existing loans.
• Complete Credit Memo/Underwriting for commercial credit, remote deposit capture, and ACH customers.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions for Bank Officers on loans.
• Assess receivable and other information on customer accounts; perform quarterly financial reviews.
• Assign risk ratings to each borrower of the bank.
• Provide technical support to loan officers and other credit analysts.
• Perform duties in compliance with regulatory guidelines; assume additional responsibilities as needed.
