Job summary

Citi in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Mortgage Lending Officer to originate high‑quality residential real estate loans and build productive client relationships. You will work with branch partners, real estate agents, and referral sources to grow mortgage sales and deliver superior service.

Required: 5–8 years in residential mortgage, knowledge of FHA/VA and conventional loans, and ability to explain pricing and required documents.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in residential mortgage
• Strong customer service and relationship development skills
• Ability to explain pricing and required documents to clients
• Knowledge of lending regulations including FHA/VA and conventional loans
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about financial situation and lending needs to achieve home ownership goals
• Analyze customer information to determine loan eligibility and suitable lending solutions
• Promote Citi's lending services to clients, real estate agents, and referral sources
• Coordinate with Processors/Closers and customers to ensure timely loan closing
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams to grow mortgage-related business
