The ideal candidate will bring 4–5 years of processing experience, strong underwriting knowledge, and a proven leadership track in mortgage operations, with a focus on compliance and quality control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years as a branch manager.
• Minimum 4-5 years of application and processing experience or equivalent mortgage background.
• Knowledge of closing and title requirements.
• Knowledge of loan processing and automated underwriting systems.
• Knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/VA guidelines.
• Knowledge of self-employed borrowers and tax return analysis.
• Strong computer background with Word/Excel proficiency.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop branch staff.
• Oversee day-to-day mortgage origination and processing.
• Develop branch business and set measurable goals.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality control.
• Coordinate with lenders, escrow coordinators, and sales agents.
• Lead implementation of new programs and systems.
