Job summary

Liberty FCU in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Mortgage Lending Sales Manager to lead the mortgage sales team and drive production. This producing manager role partners with the RVP to grow volume and build a high-performing referral network.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mortgage origination experience, 3+ years in leadership, and an active NMLS license; you will mentor staff, manage reports, and represent the credit union at external functions while delivering exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mortgage loan origination experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role leading a sales team.
• NMLS license and continuing education required.
• Knowledge of conventional and government loan programs.
• Experience with LOS, CRM, UW, and other software systems.
• Strong time management and verbal/written communication skills.
• Adherence to all company policies and applicable laws.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Support and grow mortgage volume with RVP of Mortgage Sales.
• Recruit and assist in hiring to grow the team.
• Mentor, lead, and coach sales team to develop referrals and meet sales goals.
• Participate in joint sales calls and assist in loan structuring.
• Forecast monthly/annual production volumes with RVP.
• Develop and implement strategy to achieve production goals.
• Resolve member problems and concerns.
• Promote the credit union at external functions.
• Prepare and submit loan reports.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Provide exceptional member service.
