Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Operations Senior Specialist for Home Lending Default Operations in Columbus, OH. You will review, verify, and execute legal documents across foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation, and loss mitigation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines and procedures.

You will collaborate with internal teams and legal counsel, leverage mortgage systems and e-signature technology, and validate data points such as names, dates, and amounts to protect customers and firm risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations (mortgage, default, foreclosure)
• Experience reviewing legal documents and ensuring compliance
• Proficiency with electronic signature platforms and MS Word/Excel

Responsibilities

• Adhere to sworn document and notary guidelines and maintain signing authority
• Execute foreclosure and other document filings after verification against loan records
• Ensure factual accuracy of key data points in documents
• Review systems (LPSD, MSP, LISA, Solomon Suite) to retrieve, verify, and record information for document execution
• Utilize electronic signature technology to process e-sign applicable documents securely
• Prioritize work and meet departmental timelines for document execution and escalation
• Monitor work queues and notifications to maintain timely execution of documents
• Engage legal counsel to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper execution of documents
• Escalate special circumstances or unresolved issues promptly and follow up through resolution
• Maintain current knowledge of default/foreclosure requirements and jurisdictional nuances
• Ensure document packets forwarded to review groups are complete and accurate
