Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex virtualization and cloud deployments across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to reproduce defects, drive RCAs, and influence architectural improvements while ensuring customer success and SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of deep technical experience in virtualization, cloud management, or enterprise support.
• Expertise in hypervisor internals, orchestration platforms, or large-scale datacenter design.
• Track record of leading escalations, RCAs, and cross-functional engagements.
• Ability to influence product quality and drive architectural improvements.
• Excellent communication skills in English and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own highest-severity escalations and critical customer incidents.
• Provide architectural guidance to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering on defect reproduction and triage.
• Develop tools and automation to improve support efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and lead the support organization.
• Influence product roadmap through field insights and deployments.
