Job summary

CareWell Health in New Jersey seeks a senior molecular lab supervisor to oversee daily high-complexity testing, manage staff, and ensure accuracy and compliance across the lab. You will lead start-up projects, validate assays, and maintain instrumentation.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive PCR/NGS experience, and adherence to CLIA standards. Competitive hourly compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related field with MT (ASCP) or MB(ASCP) certification.
• Minimum 4 years lab experience with molecular diagnostic testing.
• Hands-on experience with PCR, DNA/RNA isolation and molecular assay validation.
• Experience with NGS and regulatory compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of high-complexity molecular testing.
• Direct and train lab staff; ensure quality control and QA procedures.
• Develop and validate molecular assays and oversee proficiency testing.
• Maintain equipment calibration and inventory; ensure safety compliance.
