AskBio Inc. in RTP, NC seeks a Senior Research Associate, Molecular Biodistribution to execute biodistribution and gene expression assays.

You will develop, optimize, and troubleshoot molecular assays quantifying vector genomes, transgene expression, and biomarkers in tissues and biofluids, and support regulatory submissions. The role requires hands-on experience with ddPCR, qPCR, RT-qPCR, tissue nucleic acid extraction, and data analysis to inform dose strategy, safety assessment, and program

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ related work experience in biotech/pharma or academic translational research.
• Experience executing biodistribution and gene expression studies for gene therapy (AAV preferred).
• Experience with regulated nonclinical documentation and GLP/non-GLP studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot molecular assays to quantify vector genomes, transgene expression, and biomarkers in tissues and biofluids.
• Analyze biodistribution and gene expression datasets to inform program decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure reliable assay execution and sample analysis.
• Present results and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
