Job summary

AskBio Inc. seeks a Senior Research Associate, Molecular Biodistribution to execute biodistribution and gene expression studies. You will develop and adapt molecular assays, quantify vector genomes and transgene expression, and interpret data to inform candidate selection and dosing strategies.

The role requires hands-on experience with ddPCR/qPCR/RT-qPCR in tissue and biofluid samples, data analysis, and collaboration with Product Development and Translation Medicine. Onsite in RTP, NC.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or related field with 5+ years’ experience.
OR Master’s degree with 2+ years’ experience.
Experience in biotech, pharma, CRO, or translational research settings.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot molecular assays to quantify vector genomes, transgene expression, and related biomarkers.
Analyze biodistribution and gene expression datasets to support program decisions.
Summarize findings for study reports, governance discussions, and regulatory documentation.
Present results and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
