Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist with deep experience in plastic injection molding and simulation to help Moldflow customers solve complex engineering challenges. Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience with plastic injection-molding simulation, preferably Autodesk Moldflow, or equivalent industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of injection molding, polymer behavior, processing conditions, and manufacturing fundamentals.
• Experience preparing, running, troubleshooting, and interpreting engineering simulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for Autodesk Moldflow customers.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving geometry, meshing, materials, process settings, solver behavior, and simulation results.
• Help customers distinguish between software issues, modeling assumptions, and real-world molding or manufacturing challenges.
• Research, reproduce, and document product issues and collaborate with Product Development and Engineering teams as needed.
• Create clear technical articles, troubleshooting guidance, and reusable knowledge for customers and internal teams.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve troubleshooting, research, and knowledge creation while validating technical accuracy with sound engineering judgment.
• Develop expertise in connected Autodesk workflows, including Moldflow, Fusion, and related design and manufacturing technologies.
