Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist with deep Moldflow knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex plastic injection-molding simulations. You will translate technical results into actionable guidance, troubleshooting geometry, meshing, materials, and process settings, and contribute to AI-enabled tooling across Moldflow and Fusion.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience with plastic injection-molding simulation, preferably Moldflow, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of injection molding, polymer behavior, processing conditions, and manufacturing fundamentals.
• Experience preparing, running, troubleshooting, and interpreting engineering simulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer focus and ownership of technical problems through resolution.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-changing technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support for Autodesk Moldflow customers.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving geometry, meshing, materials, process settings, solver behavior, and results.
• Help customers distinguish software issues from modeling assumptions and real-world challenges.
• Research, reproduce, and document product issues; collaborate with Product Development and Engineering teams.
• Create clear technical articles, troubleshooting guidance, and reusable knowledge for customers and internal teams.
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve troubleshooting and knowledge creation with engineering judgment.
