Job summary

SMC Ltd. is a globally recognized premium supplier to the medical market with locations throughout the world. This position focuses on setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines, robots, and secondary equipment to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will mentor Mold Tech levels 1-3, perform production samples, and participate in CAPA investigations to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five+ years of molding experience in a technical role with strong setup and continuous improvement.
• Completion of Mold Tech Levels One, Two and Three preferred.
• Proficiency in DoE concepts and data interpretation.
• Ability to read/write/communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot various injection molding processes, molds, robots and related equipment.
• Coordinate with QA/Engineering/Tool Room to ensure part quality and process control.
• Investigate problems, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Lead CAPA activities and drive productivity improvements on the shop floor.
