Job summary

SMC Ltd. seeks a Mold Technician to set up, startup and troubleshoot injection molding processes across multiple equipment and molds. You will mentor Level One and Two technicians and maintain a production-ready floor, ensuring quality and efficiency on every shift.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, completion of SMC Mold Tech Level One & Two, and RJG Fundamentals training, with at least 1 year of Thermoplastic/LSR setup experience. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• SMC Mold Tech Level One and Two requirements completed.
• RJG Fundamentals training completed.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Thermoplastic/LSR machine setup.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding processes and related equipment.
• Inspect and maintain molds; report issues via MRO.
• Monitor process parameters and maintain machines at proper cycle.
• Mentor Mold Technicians Level One and Two.
• Follow schedules and ensure production readiness.
