Job summary

SMC Ltd. is seeking Mold Tech Level One and Two to setup, startup, and troubleshoot IMM, robots, dryers, mold heat/cool, and related equipment. The role includes mentoring Mold Tech Level One and Two staff and coordinating with QA and Tool Room as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have completed SMC Mold Tech Level One and Two requirements.
• RJG Fundamentals, Interpreting Graphs, Decoupled II Molding coursework completed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding processes and related equipment.
• Inspect and ensure molds are clean and properly treated after runs; report mold issues.
• Operate and monitor processes using IQMS SPC and related monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot production problems; identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Mentor Mold Tech Level One and Two staff; assist with training.
