Job summary

KBR is seeking a Principal Modeling & Simulation Engineer in Virginia to lead complex modeling and simulation efforts across the full analytic lifecycle. The role requires collaboration with military SMEs and other stakeholders to instantiate combat systems and kill chains within sophisticated simulation environments.

Qualifications include a BS in CS or STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in C++/Python, and an active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in CS, OR STEM field with 8 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrated proficiency developing and employing mission-level models within AFSIM or comparable simulation environments.
• Proven ability to translate models, behaviors, and implementation concepts between disparate simulation frameworks.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or other programming language.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Work independently on complex modeling and simulation tasks with minimal oversight.
• Develop and implement modeling, simulation, and software development efforts across the full analytic life cycle.
• Collaborate with SMEs to characterize architectures and concepts under study in the simulation environment.
• Contribute to experiment design, model instantiation, and analytic methods.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers and analysts when required.
• Contribute to quality deliverables and reports with quality control.
