Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly capable MBSE Systems Engineer for an Intelligence Community space customer in Virginia. The role is on site, with TS/SCI clearance requirements, and focuses on modeling, simulation, and resilience engineering across space and ground segments.

The successful candidate will contribute to architecture products, CONOPs, and associated tools, ensuring robust analysis and clear communication to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the STEM field.
• 5+ years' experience in the space systems domain.
• Prior experience with satellite systems.
• Experience in modeling and simulation.
• Experience analyzing and summarizing data with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to generate and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Modeling and simulation of space systems, space, and ground segments.
• Provide technical expertise in systems and engineering to support resilience enterprise mission operations activities, programs, systems, and processes.
• Support modeling and simulation, including threat assessments/impacts, trades, and analyses.
• Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in system design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
• Interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groups to drive resolution plans and strategies for complex technical challenges.
