Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer to lead architecture, development, implementation and optimization of software for a new Modeling and Simulation Lab. You will research technology insertions, verify communications among devices, databases and services, and collaborate with in-house and government teams.

Ideal candidates have deep expertise in Java, C, C++, Python, and MATLAB, with Agile experience, Git/GitLab, and the ability to travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira or similar tools.
Experience integrating COTS/GOTS products and developing APIs for interoperability.
Familiarity with Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense Systems.
Proficiency in Java, C, C++, MATLAB, and Python.
Experience with Git/GitLab or DevOps practices.
U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance.
Eligible to travel up to 15% and work on site when required.
