Job summary

KBR is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer in Chantilly, VA, to support DoD/IC missions with satellite relevancy knowledge. The role involves architecture assessments, validation of space systems, and analysis for SIGINT, COMINT, and ELINT needs.

The candidate will advise Government on complex space systems, contribute to mission analyses, and coordinate with multiple offices to drive resolution plans for defense applications.

Qualifications

• Requires active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports mission analysis assessments and studies for the Program Office.
• Coordinates assessments of architecture impacts, trades, and performance with Enterprise and Program Office.
• Manages development, test, and validation of assessment methodologies and tools (e.g., STK, SOAP, MATLAB).
• Performs analysis of space systems, performance metrics, timelines, and models.
• Documents issues impacting spacecraft and ground systems through objective analysis.
• Provides pre- and post-algorithm implementation and modeling support.
