Job summary

PACE NorthDriver roles transport seniors across a 7-county region to day centers, appointments, and activities. You will drive buses or vans with care, helping participants board and exit safely, and occasionally lead outings to shops, museums, or local outings.

We seek a positive, patient individual who enjoys working with seniors, holds a Michigan Chauffeur’s License with a clean record, and has at least 6 months experience with aging adults. Full-time with benefits available.

• Enjoys working with people, especially seniors, with a compassionate, can-do spirit.
• Holds a valid Michigan Chauffeur’s License with a clean driving record.
• Has at least 6 months of experience working with aging adults.

Responsibilities

• Transport seniors in the 7-county region to and from the day center, medical appointments, and activities.
• Drive buses or vans with care and help participants on and off safely.
• Facilitate special outings like shopping, visiting museums, or fishing.
• Maintain and care for the buses, keeping them clean and fueled.
• Be the first and last contact for participants, setting a positive tone.
• Provide support to ensure safe, comfortable, and enriching experiences.
