Job summary

FleetPride, the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S., seeks an experienced Mobile Technician III to master preventative maintenance on all vehicle systems and perform advanced diagnostics. This role involves shop work between service calls and may include after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include examining vehicles, training new technicians, ensuring quality and timely order completion, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Tech cert/degree is a plus but not required.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnostic experience and welding.
• Air Brake Certified are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine services (oil changes, filters).
• Repair brakes, suspension, and driveline components.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicle systems using proper equipment.
• Train new service staff on company procedures and safety.
