Job summary

FleetPride in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mobile Technician III who can diagnose complex vehicle systems, perform preventative maintenance, and train junior technicians in shop and field settings.

You will overhaul diesel and gasoline engines, work on brakes, suspensions, electrical systems, and welding; some on-call rotation may be required. A High School diploma and 7+ years of class 7/8 truck repair experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED; diesel tech cert is a plus but not required.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred but not required.
• Welding experience; Air Brake Certified.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Train new service staff on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake work, and component replacements.
• Troubleshoot and repair engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspensions, and frames.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and drive safely.
