JumpCloud Inc. is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer with 8–12 years of native iOS/Android development to drive mobile security features across JumpCloud Protect, MAFA, and Password Vault.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of professional software development focused on native mobile app delivery.
• Expert-level proficiency in Swift or Kotlin; ability to work across both platforms.
• Deep understanding of mobile security: ATS, certificate pinning trade‑offs, jailbreak/root detection, cryptography best practices.
• Hands-on experience writing unit, UI, and integration tests using XCTest, Espresso, or modern E2E tools.
• Experience setting up mobile CI pipelines (Bitrise, Fastlane, GitHub Actions) and using crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and OIDC client libraries into mobile architectures.
• Prior experience developing enterprise security, Password Vault, or MFA apps.
• Production experience with native desktop extensions or cross‑platform security modules.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and ship high-performance native iOS and Android features for mobile authentication, password management, and identity verification apps.
• Implement security mechanisms including biometric authentication and secure storage integrations.
• Own release hygiene: manage App Store/Play Store pipelines and maintain UI test coverage; build mobile E2E test suites.
• Identify and troubleshoot incidents; drive quick resolution and post-incident reviews.
• Champion AI adoption and mentor engineers; participate in RFC reviews and build team skill libraries.
