Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Mobile Authentication Integration Engineer to support the DoD’s ICAM platform, focusing on native iOS and Android integration, phishing-resistant authentication, and secure SDK workflows for federal mobility programs.

The role emphasizes enterprise identity engineering, secure credential storage, and compliance with NIST 800-63, Zero Trust, and related federal guidelines, with a fully remote work arrangement in the United States.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in native iOS development with Swift and native Android development with Kotlin/Java.
• Hands-on experience integrating Okta Identity Engine (OIE) Embedded SDKs into native apps.
• Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, and secure token management.
• Experience implementing FIDO2/WebAuthn, passkeys, and phishing-resistant methods.
• Familiarity with CAC/PIV, Purebred, and other Federal mobile credentials.
• Knowledge of mobile security including OWASP Mobile Top 10, certificate pinning, and TLS.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and mobile release management.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Okta Identity Engine Embedded SDKs into native iOS and Android apps.
• Implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, PKCE, and secure token management.
• Develop secure mobile authentication, identity enrollment, and account recovery workflows.
• Implement FIDO2/WebAuthn and phishing-resistant authentication methods.
• Integrate CAC/PIV and other government credentials into mobile apps.
• Manage credential storage using iOS Keychain and Android Keystore.
• Ensure secure communications and apply OWASP Mobile Top 10 controls.
• Collaborate with federal cybersecurity and identity teams to deliver mobile IAM capabilities.
