Farther is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to build mobile experiences for advisors and clients using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript. You will join our mobile engineering team delivering core product features and participate in a Forward Deployed Engineering initiative rotating with advisors on urgent challenges.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in mobile development with React Native.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills and iOS/Android experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship mobile features for iOS and Android with React Native and TypeScript.
• Create high-performance mobile interfaces for complex financial workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end experiences.
• Contribute to mobile architecture decisions and scalable patterns.
• Mentor engineers on mobile best practices and React Native development.
