Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Texas is seeking Experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to support our clients by maintaining fleets and handling on-site service calls at customer locations. This role offers opportunities to work with a leading network in the commercial truck industry and to advance within a growing organization.

The position requires strong diesel mechanics experience, the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues, and a dedication to customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL is preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability is a must.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, & ASE certifications are preferred & rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and required inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and for keeping the vehicle properly stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned duties daily.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
• Maintain and inventory tools for the work.
